Cajun Beef Chuck Eye Steak


  • 2 lbs HBK Chuck Eye Steak

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic salt

  • 1 tsp McCormick Cajun Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Let's get cooking!

  1. Pre-heat cast iron on medium heat

  2. Pat dry each side of the steak and then add all the seasonings. Make sure each side is covered. Add more or less cajun seasoning based on spicy preference.

  3. Pour olive oil into the cast iron pan. Once the oil is hot, place the steak in the pan. Let the steak cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Cook the steak on all sides.

  4. This cut is best prepared at medium or medium-rare.

  • Baked potatoes or mashed potatoes

  • Corn on the cob

  • Roasted vegetables
