Ranch Foreman/Assistant

HBK Ranch located in Frenchtown Montana is hiring for a full or part time Ranch Foreman/Assistant. 

This position has flexible hours for the right individual. 

Qualified applicant will be capable of the following:

• Consistent heavy lifting and physical labor - including but not limited to fencing, digging, moving and loading heavy beef boxes, etc.

• Clean and safe driving record. 

• Hooking up, driving and backing up variety of trailers - gooseneck stock trailers, flatbeds and bumper pull stock, flatbed and cargo trailers. 

• Mechanical aptitude - some light mechanic work and maintenance on occasion with training provided. Attention to detail is a big deal!

• Equipment operation to include skid steer, tractors etc.

• Comfort and experience around livestock a plus but not absolutely required as long as you are willing to learn- calm mind and demeanor a must. 

• Comfortable interacting with customers on occasion along with vendors. 

• Trustworthy handling money and expensive equipment. 

This position is available from part time hours to full time hours for the right individual. Wage from $17-$22 per hour depending on ability and availability. Position will also include beef and pork at no charge. 

Random drug screening will be executed. 

This position has a ton of potential for growth to include learning additional skill sets such as welding, leatherwork etc for the right person. We are hoping to find someone that wants to grow with our small ranch, business and family.
